Waitrons

Afriski Mountain Resort invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the positions of a Waitrons at its Site at Mahlasela Pass.

The candidate will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing high-quality visual content that highlights the unique offerings of our resort. From action-packed snowboarding footage to breathtaking mountain vistas, the Graphics/Videographer will play a key role in showcasing Afriski’s charm and adventure to our target audience.

Job Responsibilities

You will provide:

Customer Service:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival at the restaurant.
- Provide menu recommendations, take orders, and answer inquiries regarding food and beverages.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders to tables.
Food and Beverage Service:
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with established service standards.
- Ensure proper presentation of dishes and beverages before serving.
- Assist with food preparation and garnishing when necessary.
Table Maintenance:
- Set up and arrange tables in accordance with seating arrangements and cleanliness standards.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service.

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required during peak season.

A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
