Procurement Clerk Assistant

Afriski Mountain Resort invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the positions of a Procurement Clerk Assistant at its Site at Mahlasela Pass.

Job Responsibilities

You will:

  • Ensure company standard operating procedures are adhered to at all times, specifically with regards to the “company vehicle usage agreement.”
  • Do Data entry of information into system (Training will be provided).
  • Be Collating orders ensuring that stock values correspond with goods received or that are issued.
  • Sort and arrange goods to its respective allocation based on Company SOP.
  • Do Stock Management; Weekly & Daily stock counting.
  • Handle Stock Distribution; Allocation of required stock to relevant F & B outlets.
  • Do Weekly stock ordering planned in advance.
  • Supply and deliver stock to the various outlets on the resort.
  • Ensure all hygiene standards are adhered to at all times, with specifics to the cold-chain policy.
  • Keep uniform and equipment clean and hygienic daily, ensuring hygiene principles are implemented.

Requirements:

  • Physically fit and mobile with no back, leg or arm problems, must be 18 years or older. Able to reach, bend and frequently lift objects.
  • Must be fluent in English, speak, read and understand to a high standard. Basic math skills are essential.
  • Able to listen, understand and carry out work instructions correctly and on time.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Able and willing to live at the resort if and when necessary and willing to work overtime.
  • Must be familiar with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Honest, sober habits, conscientious, reliable.
  • Know and understand importance of food storage and the cold chain.
  • Must be proactive in the work environment.
