Head Ski & Snowboard Instructor

Afriski Mountain Resort invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the positions of a Head Ski & Snowboard Instructor at its Site at Mahlasela Pass.

Job Responsibilities

You will:

Assist with daily build-up and pack down of the slopes/ski school.
Provide group ski / snowboard lessons to all levels.
Provide private ski / snowboard lessons to all levels.
Provide Skischool Training.
Assist ski patrol.
Assist / Partake in entertainment program.

Requirements:

Grade 12 or international equivalent.

Sapul A / Landes / Swiss level 3 / Basi 4 / Equivalent.

Extensive Ski & Snowboard experience.

Extensive teaching experience.

Experience providing training to lower/equal level instructors.

Ability to provide quality lessons.

Accurate administration and basic accounting ability and/or experience. Ability to prioritize.

Vibrant, friendly and patient personality.

Open to feedback from all other staff.

Ability to be flexible.

Honest, reliable, conscientious, responsible and disciplined.

Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Ability to work as an individual as well as in a team.

Motivated to improve skills.
