Food and Beverage Manager

Afriski Mountain Resort invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the positions of a Food and Beverage Manager at its Site at Mahlasela Pass.

Job Responsibilities

You will:

  • Manage and oversee all food and beverage operations across the resort. 
  • Ensure high standards of service quality, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement efficient operating procedures.
  • Control food and beverage costs, budgets, and stock levels.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate food and beverage staff.
  • Coordinate closely with the Head Chef and other departments.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations.
  • Plan and manage food and beverage services for events and peak seasons.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve revenue.

Requirements:

 
  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Food and Beverage management role.
  • Experience in hotel, lodge, or resort environment (high-volume preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Sound knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
  • Proven experience in cost control and budgeting.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak seasons.
