Afriski Mountain Resort invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the positions of a DJ at its Site at Mahlasela Pass.

A DJ will be responsible for curating an unforgettable entertainment experience during our winter events. From lively apres-ski parties to themed nights, you will set the tone and keep our guests entertained with your music selection and engaging performance

Job Responsibilities

You will:

Perform live DJ sets during designated events, ensuring a diverse and energetic music selection that caters to our diverse audience.
Create and maintain playlists suitable for different occasions, including apres-ski parties, themed nights, and special events.
Collaborate with event organizers and other staff members to ensure seamless coordination of music and entertainment activities.
Engage with guests and create a vibrant atmosphere by interacting with the crowd and taking song requests when appropriate.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a DJ, preferably in a hospitality or entertainment setting.

Extensive knowledge of various music genres and the ability to tailor playlists to suit different occasions and preferences.

Proficiency in operating DJ equipment, including turntables, mixers, and sound systems.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests and create a lively atmosphere.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to entertainment venues.

Creative flair and a passion for delivering memorable entertainment experiences.
